Went to fish at Esha Ness today and called into the Brewick Tearoom for a bite to eat and was really impressed by it. If your going up north you should drop in and try it.

Where is the loch with the biggest fish in Shetland?
Mar 31 2006 01:27 pm
Hi.Alec.Thanks for the information on this Loch,I will change the name on my list,I will call it Cro Water. I Dont think we have met Alec. I just wanted to show the people the Lochs on the North Mainland now that I am retired, so I set up this wee web site.Hope people find it interesting and come to Shetland and try the fishing. All or most of the Lochs are close to the road with a few exceptions. Regards from George.

Hello again George,
I have found out from the locals that the correct name for this loch is Cro Water. Just to confuse matters even further, some anglers call it South Punds!
For information, over the years quite a few people have "moved" small trout about 5" long into this loch & they have grown well. The most noteable of these restockers are Alex & Greta Munro who put approx 500 fish into this loch between 1995 & 2003.
Have we ever met when out fishing?
