Girlsta.Six miles north of Lerwick this Loch contains three times as much water as any other Loch in Shetland with a maximum depth of 74 ft.and a mean of 31 ft.in its one and a half mile length and third of a mile in breadth.It is a true rock basin. Contains Artic Char and has a reputation for large Trout.
